Aiea Public Library
Community
The new Aiea Public Library replaces the existing 1960’s library in what was once a small plantation town. The new library is located on the site of the former Aiea Sugar Mill in which the library’s inspiration derives from. The 14,000 sf building holds twice as much shelving space with natural daylighting, views of Pearl Harbor and a community space to hold neighborhood board meetings.
